Homemade Hummus
Ingredients:
- 2 cans Garbanzo Beans (drained)
- 2 tbs. Tahini Paste
- 3 Garlic Cloves (if you like more garlicky taste you can add more cloves)
- Salt to taste (easy on the salt; add as needed)
- 1-2 tbs. Lemon Juice (depending on your taste bud)
- Paprika
- Olive Oil
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together in a food processor (except for paprika and olive oil) and voila! Add paprika and olive oil when it is ready to be served for taste and presentation purposes.
This hummus goes well with chicken shawarma, saffron rice, and pita bread. It can also be good to eat as a dip with veggies or tofu for the vegetarians and vegans folks.
