Arezu has been virtual training with Kristen for the past year and through their time together, she noticed how dedicated Arezu was to improving her health and fitness. She showed up to each workout with an unbeatable attitude and was always determined to finish each session with her best. Arezu never shied away from any of the tough exercises that were thrown her way. She might have ended a set out of breath or “in pain” (her words) but she always asked for more. We are very proud of how far Arezu has come!
What motivates you to stay active?
There is a history of heart disease and stroke in my family, so I have always been motivated to take the needed steps to live a heart healthy life. Also, wedding season is upon us.
What do you like most about the Arrow fitness and wellness program?
Being a high risk individual, I have been unable to use workout facilities, but with the remote personal training option Arrow Fitness provides, I can still stay active within the comfort of my home. I also have access to their online portal which provides workout videos and other helpful tools. Kristen Johnson has been an integral part of my health/wellness during this past year, and it has made all the difference.
What is your favorite exercise?
Working out has always been a challenge for me, but finding the right movements for my body changed my relationship with exercise. A good ol’ fashioned narrow to wide squat jump coupled with a weighted overhead press delivers a full body work out.
List 3 fun facts about you, interests, or hobbies that you enjoy.
1. I love tennis, despite my allergy to cardio. Nothing like sunshine, fresh air and aces to bring a smile to my face.
2. As a child actor, I have worked with some of the greats, including: Tom Cruise and Kathy Bates.
3. I broke every bone in my elbow and snapped the ligament in half, resulting in a 6 hour surgery and 22 months of physical therapy. Be careful of mopped floors, one mis-step can cost you a fortune.
