Hilda has been one of the most dedicated and hard working members since our program began. You can always count on her to show up for class, even it means braving the elements to travel from building to building. Her energy and positive attitude always makes workouts fun! Keep it up Hilda!
What motivates you to get in the gym every day?
The desire of having a longer and healthier life now and down the road is what gets me off my desk chair and into the gym! Being physically active during the day is a stress reliever and a break from work and the perfect reward is the feeling of accomplishment after a class well done! (you will always feel accomplished at the gym, unlike some days in front of your computer…lol). Here’s to a year of more challenging workouts, positive thinking and most of all, improving myself!
What do you like the most about the fitness center?
I love the camaraderie and sense of community. Our fitness center is a place where you can always find someone you know and have something in common. Jessica and Luke are the BEST fitness trainers, so professional and friendly, they make every class count and they are always available for all your fitness questions and the occasional chit chat. Most importantly, the convenience of having a complete gym for free, instructors included, in your workplace, open anytime…it makes all my friends jealous when I tell them about it, I can’t find any valid excuses to not take advantage of it every day!
Tell us about your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Anything outdoors is my favorite thing to do in this wonderful place called Colorado, just stepping out and looking at the snow capped mountains is enough inspiration not to go back indoors. Cycling is my passion and as soon as the weather is nice enough not to slide on the ice I am out there exploring trails, streets and new landscapes. If I have to be indoors, I love eating and cooking and spending time with my family.
