
Julie and Hayden workout todgether almost every day. Having a workout partner will help motivate you and it will definitely keep you accountable! If you don’t have a workout partner feel free to recruit an exercise specialist to help you get motivated!!
What motivates you to stay active?
H: The competition with myself. Staying active not only helps me compete in sports, but also is a way for me to clear my mind and process everyday tasks I have.
J: How does that go… “A body in motion tends to stay in motion…” I have a big Harley-Davidson motorcycle – Being fit and strong enough to hold it up and make tight, precision turns requires practice! I want to get out there in the world and feel the wind in my hair and be safe doing it.
What do you like most about the Arrow fitness and wellness program?
H: The convenience of being able to workout during the day with the options for Free wights, machines, and classes. Also my gym partner Jewlz and I can keep track of each other and push each other’s goals.
J: I love the ease and convenience of being able to work out mid-day. The afternoons always fly be and I feel better able to focus after a good workout. Having Hayden to workout with pushes me out of my comfort zone with strength training and it’s super fun for me to watch him try to get into some of the yoga poses I throw at him.
What is your FAVORITE exercise?
H: Squats!!
J: Tossup between dead-lifts and practicing yoga inversions (yes, I mean standing on my head and hands)!
What are some fun facts, interests, or hobbies that you enjoy?
H: Playing Rugby, Climbing 14ers and an interest or goal of mine is to qualify for the Ironman on Kona
J: Yoga and yoga inversions, Tribal Fusion belly dancer (17 years’ experience), and riding motorcycles & teaching others how to ride (MSF certified RiderCoach)
